Of all the challenges in uprooting a life and business to move across the country, I think the hardest part is most certainly leaving all the wonderful people behind. My family and all of my closest friends are back in Virginia now as well as 9+ years of clients, many of which have become very close friends!! With that said I DO feel very much at home here and have already started to make new friends (I'm much like an awkward middle school goober sometime and it isn't always easy to do!) "Hi I'm Rebekah... I'm a mother to 4...insane I know but I'm pregnant with ONE MORE!! I have a high energy cattle dog and I am business owner to TWO blossoming businesses.... my life is absolutely chaotic.. will you be my friend?!!" Ha ha. There isn't a Tinder for mommies, and so we (us loner moms) either get stuck picking up random families at the park or scouting the local moms groups. And that is exactly how I met this gorgeous mom. I'm glad she said yes to my creepy invite to take her photos (despite her police officer husband's cautions hahahaha) they turned out wonderful and so....
Meet Makaely and her handsome 6 month old son Cedric. Makaely met me last Sunday morning at Bell Rock Vista in Sedona, Arizona for some high morning portraits and some quick new friend time :)
